    Paying interest on a depreciating asset is never good financial sense. Paying interest on toys makes even less sense. Making payments on something that you will, over time, probably not ride predominately, sucks. At least around here you can ride all year, but chances are very good you won't. Last if you are buying new, like you were talking about, chances are good you will end up upside down if you try to get rid of it too soon.

    Scott also hit on some of the realities above.

    Once I witnessed b).
    I was on the third floor balcony of an apartment and saw a guy pull in and park his motorcycle. About 20 minutes later a truck pulled up next to the motorcycle, 4 guys got out, lifted the bike up and put it into the bed of the truck and then drove off.

    Trying to swap out a suspension in a single stall apartment garage sucks. At least I got the front suspension installed and on leaf spring swapped out. I'll finsh the others leaf spring tomorrow after work. I did get to drive around my apartment to test out the new radflo coilovers. OMG! They ride soooo nice and soak up bumps well.
