I think there is a cross over between my build thread and and the bs thread.

Your relative height to the ground will NOT affect the ECU. A gear change might.........

I'm too lazy for all of this "PM" business.

I bought my Tacoma in March of last year with 26000 miles and put my Boss kit (with add a leafs on stockers) on that July. I'm now at 47000 miles with more than a few road and wheeling trips under my belt.

I routinely have have a lot of weight in the back (and who knows how much my swing out weighs) along with 2 or 3 large individuals during camping trips. Christ, the beer alone probably outweighs the truck. I off-road with all of this crap in order to get to whatever camping destination is on the docket for the day.

Overall, the kit was a great purchase. I do find that it is stiff when hitting bumps on pavement, but I normally use public transportation so it doesn't bother me. The stiffness could come from the sway bar, but I find it comforting on curvy mountain roads.

I'd say give the warranty a test. I admit that I don't know much about the non-metal ropes, but I'd have been pissed seeing that right out of the box.

That's what I'm trying. It seemed to be going well when they first replied with asking for an address and proof of purchase. But now they are dragging their feet playing 10,000 questions one at a time/one per day, which has me not so thrilled. If it's this hard with an issue straight out of the box...

PM's ... bah! This is the BS thread, there shall be BS.

Had Nitto Trail Graps on my truck 285/75r18. They were good for about 6 months, then the compound seemed to harden up a little bit which caused them to be a bit sketchy in wet weather on pavement. Never had problems with them in the snow, only when it was rainy. Overall it was a nice tire. Good wear for an MT, I got 46K out of them.
