Firing operations on Divisions Hotel/India/Juliet. (NE corner of fire) My strike team is performing structure protection 1 ridge over from the firing op, protecting homes in the Sky Ranch area off Cachagua Rd.

Sky Ranch, on top of the Tularcitos Ridge, is some $$$$$ houses, I just drove through there the weekend before the fire. There's a 10 acre property for sale in Sky Ranch that has no home, just a amateur telescope observatory.
I think they are asking $450000 or something, whihc isn't bad, almost wish I had that kinda scratch lying around, hahaahah.

 

Anyone happen to have a tow hitch for a first gen tacoma they are looking to sell? I have been looking for a while, but no local ones pop up on craigslist.

 

If I knew you were out there I'd have invited you to stay at my buddy's place in Carmel. Hot shower, real bed, and all the steak you can eat. Beers on me next time I'm up your way, stay safe!

PS I finally cracked that 18 year Jameson, and its hands down the best whiskey I've tried yet. Well worth the $100 bottle.

 

Damnit... I'm off until next Tuesday. Lots of beer drinking in store.

Have you had Hibiki? Their 18 year is top notch if you can find it but they're moving to "Hibiki Harmony" without an age statement.

 

I have not, I'm typically an Irish whiskey drinker, but I've branched out to a few bourbons
