    Doesn't Hibiki only make a 17? They have the 12, 17, and 21.

Japanase whiskey is by far the most balanced whiskey I have had. Really incredible stuff. The Nika coffee grain is great for everyday drinking and not that hard to find.

You know I'm not really sure. I had it at a whiskey bar in Seattle and they had it listed as an 18. My buddy is a big Japanese whiskey fan and was the reason I tried it but I'll definitely have to check out the Nika stuff.

I'd say Jameson is pretty close to Hibiki, maybe not in taste but definitely as far as smoothness.

Edit: Just checked and you're correct 12, 17, 21 and apparently 30 for the ultra baller.

You never offered that when I was in the shop.

I just looked that up. It looks like a really good one! $350 a bottle isn't bad considering what you get. Now to find one...

Thats the only bottle I don't have/haven't tasted yet. Its on my whiskey wishlist, but I always find something better to spend $400 on lol. Someday...

This is my second bottle and I didn't pay for either! One was a gift from a good client and the other from the bar next to my shop. Lucky I know, I wouldn't buy this for myself, the 18 is the most I spend for myself. The Vintage is easily worth the price though, you really don't have a clue what that caliber of whiskey tastes like until you try it.

Damn, now I regret not trying it! Went to an Irish pub in Sac with the family that had that for $55 a shot, and It was a little rich for my blood on an early sunday morning with an hour drive home lol. Now I'm gonna have to go source me a bottle!

Nice! But no sliders??! Also how do you like that hitch tire carrier? Seems like maybe it would move around a lot, is it noisy? Pain in the ass to drop it down to open the hatch?

I actually love the 2nd gen runners. I've always wanted to build one, but, ya know, not enough money and all that

Where is @kalieaire with this Japanese whiskey talk? I saw your posts on Facebook about pillaging the Costco's.

Jameson is my go to drink, I have a caskmates version sitting under my work desk right now for those "tough" days. Pretty good, but I really want to try the 18 or 30 now. I took a tour of the Jameson factory in Dublin, so amazing and my step dad got to do the tasting challenge on the tour.
