    I want to know everyones opinion on me getting a flow master American thunder exhaust system for my 2003 Toyota Tacoma prerunner 4 cylinder 2.7L

    Love the notion of 'American Thunder' though. On a Japanese normally aspirated 4. Those marketing guys are sharp. :thumbsup:

    Imo nothing about the sound, or the potential sound of any 4 cyl truck/car sounds good. But I grew up with v8's. My $0.02.

    For the record I have a '04 2.7L as well

    I suggest buying just a muffler since sound is what you want. You could buy the same muffler flow master puts in those exhausts and just have an exhaust shop swap it in. If you are truly in love with that exact exhaust's sound have them delete the resonator too cause it looks like a catback with just one muffler. It will save you like $400 and sound exactly the same. Or you could even use exhaust clamps and diy, or better yet if you know anyone with a welder or have one yourself it will be even better.

    IMHO that's a lousy reason to spend money.

    Not seeking a response here. Just a couple thoughts.........

    Consider why you feel the need to blend in. Mufflers is one thing, but that's likely just a sample.

    Don't let your life be run by peer pressure. Learn to stand on your own!

    I'm only in my 30's, but thank goodness I was raised and taught by old timers that would have never let me spend money or time on stuff they knew wouldn't have done much for me. We all gotta learn somewhere, sometimes it's the hard way though.

    it's about the same as stock. nothing over the top and not loud, hence "Quiet-Flow" :)

    Save your money, your OEM exhaust is much better than a Walker product.

    only way to make a 4 banger sound good is with a uel header imo.

    ya only replace if it needs replacing but the OEM is $350, I went Walker for an exhaust that lasts the same amount of time

    I have yet to see a Walker exhaust last longer than 2 years. IMO Walker is something you install when you're selling a vehicle.
