    3"x1" lift, 33's
Check it out Robbie, I can't tell you what to do but I can tell you what I've done with me '15 Gen2 and mayby save you some headaches - & cash!!!

    So here goes:

I went the whole Bilstein/Eibach-Toytec Route and only got 2.5" max lift ):

So here's what I brought home from the dealer:
2015 Tacoma Dbl Cab 4x4 Off Road (6-Lug)
    Duratec 285/70R17 Tires
XD Series Wheels w/ proper backspacing
3" Front / 1" Rear (Spacer) Leveling Kit

It looked cool, but I had no wheel travel & there was some contact at full compression. So I bought and had the local shop install a Warn VR 8000-S (synthetic) Winch w/Hause Fairlead / approx 90lbs. (with internal mount) & the Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Shocks for my model year and had the local shop install them at top ring with my stock shocks...

Needless to say there was A LOT of tire rub, so I ordered the Eibach/Toytec 112-620 Springs and Total Chaos UCAs & had the local shop install the springs on the Billy's at the Second Level (per Website Instructions), with 1/2" spacers on Both Sides and the optional 1/4" Spacer on the Driver's Side for 'Tacoma Droop' AND perform a Cab Mount Chop (CMC).

There was still rub, but it seemed to be coming from the inner-fender flares, so I cut-out a substantial amount of the inner fender plastic, which helped a lot

That Seemed to Work at First, or at least got me back to the ride quality I had when I first took it home. I felt better knowing I had more capable components under me, but there was still a little contact before full compression up-front.

Speed Bumps disappear at speeds in-excess of 40 MPH :)

But then, after about 2 months, the suspension 'settled-in' and I started noticing embarrassing tire rub at the slightest in-town obstacles.

I went back to the dealership today (8/3/2016) and measured a stock Tacoma TRD from middle-of-hub to the bottom of the fender & it came in at 21", I turned around and measured mine and it was only 23.5" ):

All that, and I only achieved 2.5"

I have an appointment next week to bend-over the pinch welds and cut the fenders until there is no contact, but I was really hoping this was the solution I needed.

I'm currently looking at ICON, Fox & King coil-overs right now for something I can take off-road with confidence. I hope Bilstein/Toytec ups their game, because I can't really recommend their package to a friend at this time.

    Nole Bullock,

If you're sold on 6", you have to do a drop bracket - as you seem to know from the vendors you listed. Many people will try to talk you out of this. A good drop bracket kit is not any weaker than the frame, so not a safety concern. I know guys who have them and love them. My buddy has one and wheels it on occasion - and kills it. I just saw him towing a side by side down the road a couple days ago. If it's what you want, do it. You'll still need to do a cab mount chop with 35s, just be ready for it. 33s look small on a 6" lift.

From what I've seen (on the interweb), I think BDS is probably the highest quality. I've talked to a few guys who loved their Rough Country DB lifts, but they weren't wheelers - not sure if you aspire to be :notsure:. If so, the general consensus is to stick with 2.5 - 3" suspension lift and get the rest of your height from tires. Either way, say goodbye to your spending money now that you're on TW!!

Bilstein aren't bad for the money if your setup is right regardless if you go with eibach or Ome coils. But don't get me wrong you can't compare them to kings, icons, fox. From my experience Bilstein 5100's are good for the money but don't expect so much out of them. I like them and I would recommend it to anyone. But eventually you will upgrade to better suspension.

Okay cool a lot of people were trying to talk me into the max trac lift with bilsteins but those are lift spindles and shocks basically and as far as going off road I'll probably do mild stuff like the beach hunt club roads stuff like that but for now this trucks gonna be a street queen mainly because it's my daily. Spindle lifts only work on 2wd trucks, hence my first question.

With a DB lift, you'll still want to upgrade your shocks and struts eventually. Putting in a good leaf pack in the rear, instead of blocks, is highly recommended.

You gotta pay to play. They seem to be a great product. Look at the 4.5", I think it's the best of both worlds.

You could squeeze a little extra from adjustable coilovers and have the IFS clearance that most DB lifts lack.
