I noticed a few things that were welded too tight of tolerances. I had to grind my miss-alignment spacer on the bottom of the coilover on the icons and the kings to fit within the mount on the driver side, passenger side was fine. Little annoyance but one issue with them, not too terrible.

I think that its tough to get something like that just perfect on each truck. I went through the same thing with mine and just had to fill those inner corners a bit. Its a 13 year old frame for you on towers that have most likely moved. Regardless, you're going to love the truck once you get it all settled, torqued a few times and out for a shakedown.

color grew on me, it looks great cleaned up in the sun. But has severely faded since its original color.

Back to the rear suspension i have the new rear links, upper and lower. I need the panhard bar still. The fox's i have suck but its most likely valving but id like to match. Ive priced out two tube 10" king bypasses and its the same price as the 2.5 replacements. I'd have to make new upper and lower mounts but i have someone who could do that easily. Im just not sure exactly what i want to do. If i really want to jump down that road with bypasses or just throw on some replacement shocks which would undoubtedly be better than whats on there now.

    El Jeff0rz?

Go with the bypasses, I just see that more suitable for where you go off-road in CA. If you were :turtleride: id say do the 2.5s and call it done IMHO.

Im still waiting on the King application to go through so hopefully we get that done and I can help you get them.

thats my thoughts on the bypasses as well, just for what i do i think it would benefit myself more. Ill probably have Chance with CaliFab do it. I have his links and hes welded my gussets and whatnot and he wants to mess with my vehicle more. He said shouldnt be a big deal to weld on the new shock mounts so it wont cost too much.

I'm no professional fabricator, but it certainly took me much more effort than "no big deal" LOL. FWIW, I went through the same debate and went with smoothies for now, it was suggested by Filthy Motorsports that 2 tubes aren't really worth it, should really go with 3 if going for bypasses, and do hydros as well to get a really well designed/tuned setup, which ended up doubling the cost over a pair of smoothies.

thats also my concern, i could go the 10" route or 12" smoothie and relocate and be more than enough for me i would guess. Hard to tell without really doing either.

Im just going off the fabricators word, he said NBD, i believe it. I just stroke keys and click the mouse so i leave it up to him. lol

Really happy with my setup for now, great improvement over the shitty 2.0 Icons, long term plan is coilovers and triples with a 9", but works really well for now.

yeah i think it will be a YUGE improvement over my 2.0s so i might do that. If i need more after that itll be LT/Bypasses but thats doing too much currently.

You sir, just made up my mind.

Well, didn't want to dissuade you LOL, just letting you know that I went through exactly this situation this winter and what I went with in the end. Either way is going to be a vast improvement if the 2.0s are letting you down now.

Thanks, took quite a while to get it all dialed in but well worth the effort.

I should add that while I mostly do crawly shit here in CO, it blasted the desert quite well in Moab.

BAMF, got it at the Black Friday price from another member who went another direction with his build.

With all the work we needed to do that weekend it made sense to buy a proven design vs taking the time to fab a hoop. At 100$ shipped, it was worth it and im very happy with it.
