Well, my truck is officially broken in. Some c**t rear ended me on an off-ramp this morning. When I pulled over she took off. I tried to follow her but she lost me.

Heading to the body shop tomorrow for an estimate. Luckily its not bad at all. Hopefully its a cheap and quick fix.

    I hate people.

Dang that sucks... Wasn't this engineered to be a user replace able part? Something about the bumper being 3 pieces easy to swap out? Doesn't look like they got your rear quarter panel so that's good.

That's the one thing that makes me apprehensive about trading in my 2007 FJ for a 2017 Tacoma. I've worked really hard to get where I can afford one, but no one respects each others property. I've been physically sitting in my truck when a lady opened her door hard in to my truck, she didn't think I was there.

EDIT* I guess I should say, most people don't respect other peoples stuff. I go out of my way not to let my door hit other cars, and I know others who do too. But I have literally seen someone leave a note that says you look rich, so you can afford it and take off.

Bilstein 5100's w/ Eibach coil overs in front (set at 3" of lift). Front diff drop kit. Extended Bilstein 5100's in the rear. Deaver 2" AAL in rear w/ axle shims. 285 x 75 r 16 Goodyear Duratracks. Wheelers steelies type B, AFE cold air intake. Sway bar delete. All Pro Apex front bumper (rattle canned Rustoleum primer + flat black). Plasti-dipped emblems. Mud flaps removed.
A lot of people just simply aren't aware of their surroundings. Texting, blabbing away, stuffing their faces. This sucks man, makes me sick that people cant even take responsibility for their own actions anymore. I suppose you weren't able to get anything off of her plates.

That sucks, man. Thankfully, though, that's why the bumper is in 3 pieces.

Not sure if this actually works or not but worth a try.

At least the bumper is 3 pieces now so worst case you only have to replace that one corner. still sucks either way

Blonde... didn't get much else except for it was a 2016-ish red Hyundai Elantra. When I pulled back on the road I had to go around a tractor trailer on the shoulder. By the time I got to the next light she was gone.I didn't see what way she turned.

I thought I heard her yell something like "you'll never get me with that minivan engine" as she drove off though...

Sometimes wonder if it is best not to pull over, but keep the scene of the accident pristine, block traffic, and cause the police to come sooner.

Did you at least get her license plate number?

Depending on where you live this might not be a good idea. Some states require that minor accidents with no injuries pull off to the shoulder and exchange info. If you're sitting there blocking traffic for something minor like this, the LEO may not be to happy when he get's there. Sometimes they don't even respond to minor accidents w/o injury

That's why i have huge Rock bumpers and gnarly rock sliders. I also always have a garmin dash camera running *always* because people are so stupid and drive like idiots. I had a lady yesterday to busy talking to her friend on the off ramp light. So i gave her a little toot of the horn and she started not going and blocking my way also trying to brake check me and driving like a fool. So i gave her both my LED light bars full power! I got along side her and swerved at her and it scared her so bad she stayed away at the next light............LOL stay away from the monster truck if you don't want to be crushed! I had a subaru driver do this to me also last year for no reason he started messing with me at a light and he was backing up and pretending to hit my truck. he did it 2 more times at the next light! I knew the neighborhood really well so i went up a block and over 2 and sat at the stop sign and there he was in 2 seconds he didn't even see me coming.............I drove over that little fuckers subarus whole fender and hood I STRAIGHT MONSTER TRUCKED HIM and drove around him once and left him there all broken smashed i know his car couldn't drive because i watched his left front strut blow out when i crushed that fender and strut turn plate.

Did you get her plate # while following her?

The world is becoming one heck of a place. My truck has been hit twice since I've owned it in 7 months. What makes me extra mad is if people claim it on insurance, in most states you have to pay your deductible and it can jack up your rates.
