    Nice man cave!

Yeah the TV is nice. Just too big and only comes in 70 or 80. I'd prefer a 55 or 60. 70 is too much.

I guess it all depends on how big the room is that you would be putting it in. 70 in my living room would be prefect I think.

Thanks about the man cave. All I need now is a fridge. Haha

How does a desktop look on that? After using 1080p on my 14" laptop, I find even my 22" 1080p monitors look like shit.

It looks great. Better than my Xbox one. The refresh rate is not as fast as higher end monitors but I still get 60fps.

Hey Colbster, what do you think of Nougat? I've only read the press releases but my 6 is supposed to get it. I also tempted to jump to the new Nexus 2016 from HTC even though my 6 has been such a good phone

I haven't had a chance to test it but it seems that Android is in some race to get new OS's out faster than Apple. I'm pretty disappointed with 6.1 on my phone and it damn near ruined my wife's LG phone. My phone is more buggy after the update and I'm planning on rolling it back to 5.1.1. and the doing a full root/ROM update on it.

I wish Android would slow down. Google in general needs to slow down and take their time. They rush to release shit but never polish it off.

I haven't had any on my vanilla 6. Did you do manufacturer updates or full Roots?

Updates from LG/Samsung using software to push the updates. There was a huge uproar about the G3 getting hosed due to the update. My note 4 benchmarks slowed down a lot, battery life took a huge hit after the updates. Android is pushing updates super fast for some reason and they really need to slow down and make a stable OS. It won't happen.

Android is doing monthly security updates. I dont have these issues on Vanilla 6.1 and can assume its the tweaks that LG Samsung add.

Each OS needs to be tweaked to the phone to work with it. You can load an LG build into a Samsung, it just has issues. So each build is unique to each phone's hardware. Android screwed the pooch on the LG build. They normally get Samsung right but even then the last update to the Note 2 I had fucked it up left and right.

If I could, I'd roll back to 4.4. Nice and stable.

Doesn't Google give the Vanilla OS to the manufacturer and its on them to modify and make it work?

This is how it was explained to me when I worked with TMO buy the reps

Yes but the vanilla OS has no specifics for hardware. Try loading it on 2 of the same phones and they will act totally different. The manufacture needs to release the tweaks they want, but the core OS is Android. If the core OS doesn't work well with the hardware it doesn't matter what the manufacture adds to it.

Then there is Verizon adding their bullshit on top of it. Super annoying.

I wanna wait for the gears of war xbox 1, but idk if I can. I definately plan on getting one for the 4k use as well as xbox.

I wouldnt go Vizio this year. They're having tons of issues and they're processing sucks. Sony has the best processing available. Samsung is good as well if you like the higher contrast because of the brighter screens. Samsung does have some ghosting effects though where the Sony doesnt. If you have any questions about specific models let me know.

Wouldn't recommend sharp too much. Hisense purchased the sharp name last year. Plus they only have a 60 hz processor.
