Maybe you already answered this in a previous post, but is there any way you can talk to someone over the phone rather than a long drawn out email exchange? On the one hand you may be able to sort through things more quickly but the downside is there will not be a written record of the conversations. Not sure which would be better if you feel they are starting to play games and be difficult with you?

Called and got in touch with someone. He said I'm good to go, new line is on backorder for 2 weeks but he'll have it ordered to be sent.

He said he literally just pulled my ticket from the original rep i was talking with who "is kind of a jackass" haha. So i guess i wasn't the only one having issues with him.

Do you have to return the old line? I'll take it if you don't.

If you saw my current winch line you'd see why I don't mind a few little fuzzy bits.

He said i do not. I was going to make (try to) some winch extension lines from the non fuzzy sections. But i may be able to spread the love instead.

Just so you know, you'll want to replace the drum as well as the hawse/fairlead since the steel leaves damage that the rope won't like. You could try and sand them to a nice finish i suppose.
