Shit I'm averaging 16mpg! I haven't seen that high of a number since before the 315s

@AR15xAR10 just do what I suggested a year ago and get a baja squadron pro kit. way more light than your stock headlight + led bar, looks cleaner, simpler.

Hmm, aren't you getting retrofits for your Tacoma? Those aren't DOT approved either :boink:

Since when has anybody checked if it's DOT during an inspection?

I highly doubt a shop would have looked for a DOT stamp on the light if the highbeam/lowbeam worked.

    Can't afford them.

Not spending that kind of cheese on a company that asks to much when they haven't even taken the time to go get the DOT stamping

I keep my driving/Squadron Sport pointed low so I don't blind other drivers and there's enough reflection off the concrete on the street that I can see what I'm doing. For trails the Squadron Pro is pointed straight ahead and it's ridiculous but great in the pitch-blackness of trails at night.

I considered retrofitting my headlight, but decided it wasn't a good idea on a bike that may or may not have slammed into trees a few times haha

Not much different than the truck being slammed into rocks and trees :notsure:

I've never slammed my truck headlights into a tree or rock before, nor has it fallen on it's side countless times haha

Retrofits are finicky enough with off roading, let alone on a dirt bike.

Didn't mean the headlight specifically. But the truck still gets banged around hard, at least mine does. My retrofits are holding strong and without issues. Even after being fully submerged. Id have no qualms about putting one in a bike

I did. My motorcycle headlight has come in direct contact with stuff many times, enough that now the whole little mounting frame for the headlight, blinkers, and speedometer is bent

My retros on the truck are doing fine other than the slight adjustment issue on the passenger side, which I've mostly fixed.

Not to mention I've only been on the bike at night a handful of times. Although it does look pretty good...

Huh? The only thing that has that mine doesn't really is the retrofit. The plastics are just painted and the black frame is photoshopped.
