I guess everyone know that when you're riding in a car you can turn the screen so the avatar is walking towards you and you get a little more time to tap on a pokemon if it pops up (since you will be driving past it and it will be behind the avatar), it makes it more difficult to hit pokestops while moving this way tho, but if you know where the stops are you can turn the screen 180* right before you get there

 

While I was on my Electabuzz hunt earlier I stopped at a spot that had 2 lured stops next to a gym. I beat the gym and just tried leveling it up while I waited out the lures stopping to catch whatever popped up. This woman came up with her kid and sat near me and started playing, she was letting her son play on her phone (he was like 8). They were fighting my gym so I quit trying to level it up and just started messing with them. They would beat my 1 pokie (it was originally my Golduck) and then be really slow to add one of their own so I would stick my Tentcruel on it while it was empty. This must've gone on for 10min with me switching back and forth between my Golduck and Tentacruel about 8 times. They had no clue what was happening. I should've waited for them to claim it and then knock it off to gain some XP, but listening to their confusion was well worth it. Finally a gang of Valor showed up and loaded it up with about 3 pokies. The lures stopped so I left.

I had no prob today or Monday on the trail on my bike. The only thing I am noticing is you can't catch it on the go if it is a stronger mon. If you engage it and try to catch and it pops out but you've moved too far out of the area where it was it usually runs. So my rides have a lot more stop and go now...

 

Snipe the gym from them as soon as they took it down from you. And make sure to drop your lowest pokemon on it when you do. That's how you watch people rage.

Just got back from a walk around the block. Good luck fishing

 

So...many...candies...

 

Just took a 30min incensed walk around the block. Won't be doing that again. It only incensed like 8 pokies and aside from a Psyduck and a magikarp is was all rats and pidgeys, 3 of which ran away after the first ball. So bogus...

I did walk enough to hatch a couple eggs. The first was a caterpie

Then came this, which was new to me


I also had a fight with a Pidgey that went too many balls long so I ran away and ran right into my catch of the night. Only took 2 ultras and 2 berries

 

Evolve or wait till level 20 to see if I get any better karps? I'm about half way through 19.

 

I wouldn't worry about the lvl your at so much for cp rating on a karp it won't be much diff, I would look at the IV and look for a near perfect and pick that one.

 

Yeah that one you screenshotted looks like a good candidate for evolve. Higher than any I have seen, but I just hit lvl 20 today

 

Actually he'd only be between 1200-1400...maybe wait. But you've also got enough for 2, so you could evolve one to pad the pokedex and hold off for a big boy later
