haha not yet, truck paint money went to hotels and stuff when the wife decided last minute she was coming with the baby and didn't want to camp or stay in a motel 6 with me. Sigh.

 

It actually doesn't bug me that much, I've decided to pay off the motorcycle first and a couple other little things before I dump some more money into the truck. Plus Wifey is bugging me for some furniture and such, so truck is put on the back burner these days until I can get a little bit of everything else handled

Meh. Some trucks it looks bad on when the colors are crazy off, two different colors of blue doesn't set off my OCD like Black and white would.

Stopped procrastinating and painted my bedsides.... Need to hit a few bushes to get all the pinstripes to match up now lol

Paint gun, had to mix the primer, base coat, mix the clear.... Came out decent for being outside in the dirt lol

Nice truck! What paint did you use, also did you sand? What grit(s)? I want to paint my front and rear glass. Also did you paint under the fenders? Different paint?

 

I painted em with some base coat clear coat mix it up type car paint I got from a paint shop thru an air gun, primed first then sanded to like 600 grit then sprayed the base then clear, came out decent. And the underside I did that rubberized undercoat a can or two worth per fender.

If you want a nice finish IE not wavy you need to body work all of your panels first. Scuff with 180, spray some primer and guide coat and block them out smooth. Glass is far from perfect and prep work is 90% of a good paint job. A lot of guys protect the back side of the glass with bedliner spray or the roll on Monstaliner stuff. If you use quality thick bedliner like the monstaliner then it helps prevent gravel / rock strikes on the backside from spider webbing the paint of the front.
