    I would recommend it for the price, but I am no combat or tactical firearm use expert, just a casual shooter. It does have a polymer housing, so it won't be as tough as lights with metal housings. I think I'm going Surefire for my next weapon light though.

    Seems ok. I dismissed the base version before because of the lack of constant-on. These newer ones have momentary or constant on. Plus there's a much bigger x version that takes two batteries and throws like 500 lumens.

    Got my 12.5" upper in today, gonna have to shoot it some to see how I like it vs the 16", it doesn't seem too different than the 16" upper in the same configuration (A2 FSB with M4 hand guards), seems kind of long vs the 7.5" I'm used to.

    sooooo after much educated effort.... I lose my pivot pin detent and bent the spring out of whack. Any one know of a place that has extras or someone who has extras that'll take money or beer?

    If not look on eBay. I've actually had decent luck finding those small individual parts like that. I usually find someone selling a 3-5 pack and pick that up. Usually can find it with free shipping too. Always nice to have spares! Sadly that's not a part I have spares of
