Bilstein 5100's all around with the AAL in the rear, Eichbach front Coils and SPC UPA's

I've been doing some research on this site for some time and this seems to be a popular setup with 265/70/17's. I was hoping to order these parts soon I just would like to know if there is anything else I need or any changes I should make?

 

Carrier bearing drop spacer. Usually about $12. You will likely need it.

Or 884 coils. Same lift but a softer spring

 

I just installed this lift on my truck 2 weeks ago. Tires fit fine with 265/70/17s. No vibrations anywhere, and the alignment is pretty good with the UCAs at the 2 or D position. I have 886 coils but i will be installing a front steel bumper soon.

Its a nice lift. The rear is a bit stiff but im also getting a rear steel bumper so that should soften it a bit.

No brake line extenders are needed for this lift. Took about 6 hours for me to do it with someone that had done it only once before. It was pretty simple, just tedious. Make sure you grease the UCAs before you go driving around. They do not come pre-greased.

 

For the record, if you plan on getting the Eibach 620 coils, and keeping the 5100's at .0, you won't need new UCA's. I have that set up and my caster is 2.5 with stock arms. The ride is absolutely amazing.

 

Did install the carrier bearing drop spacers?

 

dont worry about the CB drop.... if you feel the need for it go to the hardware store and get some big washers for 20c a piece, then you can really fine tune the drop.

 

So are you saying it's not necessary, or check for vibes first then put the CB spacers in? Asking because I removed my diff drop and replaced my needle bearing with ECGS bushing and installed new wheel bearing hub assemblies and now have slight vibe at around 12-15mph. Remove CB spacers, or reinstall diff drop?

 

I wouldnt worry about buying the CB drop if you havnt already bought it. 2 bucks worth of washers from the hardware store acomplish the same task

As far as the front diff drop, you got it right, remove it, and run the ECGS bushing and life will be good.

X2 I had the same set up. save some $ and hold off on th UCAs unless you can't get the allignment in spec.
