Some updates..

Got my mounts back from being anodized! Red, but the brushed aluminum makes it darker. Also received my last roof rack accessories.. Traction ramps. Just need the fuel pack. Time to mount it all and start filling the Plano with my tools, spare parts, etc.







Don't mind the ziptie.. It's temp.

 

That red anodize looks awesome.

 

Definitely like how it came out!

Pic for reference, works good for resi's. Keeps them from getting scratched up. I got that OCD.

thanks man! thats an awesome idea! never thought of heat shrink. was going to just use some High Density foam from work, or rubber strips. I'll do both the fire extinguisher side and the bed bar side. should help to keep everything in place and no shift/slide over time.

Big thanks to @Milota95 and @The Fluffer for the help yesterday! we got all the goodies installed on the Prinsu rack. 43" Plano case, Expedition One Pack (Rotopax Fuel pack will be under it) and Maxsa ramps. after a few runs to the hardware store.. we got the parts needed and got them mounted. pretty damn easy. Used 1/4" carriage bolts. slid those into the rack cross bars, and used washers and wingnuts to secure. I will run a cable lock through the ramps and water/fuel packs. the Plano already locks.

then headed to the Sand Drags once again. was a tough night.. lots of good competition out there. The taco still came out with a winning record though It definitely gets a lot of haters

need me one of them Fueled by Haters stickers. lol we were getting called out left and right.. apparently ol' XPOTRPR is getting some sort of reputation.. and the a lot of guys out there felt threatened by the little Taco..

The Coopers did great too! although.. at 15psi.. there was hardly any sidewall bulge.. these things are stiff. but.. they cleaned mud and sand out VERY quickly and easily. I was actually surprised when I went to check them and it looked like I never even drove through anything.
