XO 4Runner got stuck on the bumps. Taco went squish squish, right thru. The ladies took turns driving my truck on the course. Trying to find the pics of the stuck 90 and Discovery. image.jpg

I wish slapping someone's face was legal. It's been a year since and my hand is getting itchy!

I looked at a 90 about a month ago. An imported 1989 diesel with low miles. Leaked like a sive with rust cancer all over it. Owner would not go less than 16k on it. No thanks. People think 1st gens or mid 90s toyota pickups were underpowered ? I drove it in 2nd and 3rd more than the other gears because it had 0 balls. And it was stock on 28s big let down. My old 83 with a 22r could outperform it and get better mpg. I had a hard on for them for about 20 years. Finally drove one. What a let down :(

Agreed. One post about one person overreacting, threatening police interaction, and throwing in some swearing doesn't necessitate 6 pages of threats, discussion of bestiality, and a bunch more swearing. I certainly don't like uppity individuals who are all gear no game, horse people, and certain other aspects of what has been mentioned, but there's a certain amount of tact that can be used in a public space. From an outsider looking in to all these forums, what conclusions would you draw about the people on that forum?

Added clarity to my post. Evaluating the situation as my current self, however, I think the Rover forum's responses were fairly typical for the subject matter, NWOL had an OP troll followed by a bunch of reasonable people's conversations (the posts by us on NWOL were well spoken and really showed the character of who we are), while our forum had a multi-page meltdown with a lot of posts that featured graphic sexual mutilation.
I'm not talking about your quality as people, whom many I have shared beers with and trips with, and hope to again. However, I wish we could be the better group about this in our own house.

I guess, but I was joking. If you look at my post on NWOL I was respectful. I just didn't like that the dude had to share his "hey look at me opinion" when he really had no part in the conversation I had and then also fabricated and attempted to add more drama to the story by adding lies.image.jpg
