For us old men, the Toyota bedstep is very handy...but really way too expensive...until you compare to copays and a trip to the Urgent care...:anonymous:

    Me in the driver seat.
Haven't done it yet but it's coming. I bought the Headstrong Bilstein/OME kit with the HS AAL and LR UCA's. I think I am going to do it myself with a little help from a buddy. I had a shop quote me 6 hours of labor to install it plus the alignment for $670. I wanted to ask why there are videos showing people installing struts and UCA's in 14 minutes a side...Seems like a lot of time doing nothing and getting paid.

A member offered me one for $160.00 + shipping a couple days ago. I cannot see paying that much for something that should of been installed straight from the factory. I miss the corner bumper steps on the Colorado I traded in 8 months ago. :(

2k is still a high price for a standard travel 2.5" shock with no reservoir considering you can get into king or Icon for not much more. If you really like spending money without research OME will be more than happy to sell you bp-51 rear shocks with 2" bodies for a about 1500.

It does have a skewp and the bigger 8.75 rear end that manuals and ORs come with. Probably the best part about it IMO unless you want to do something cool like a snorkel.

    * <--asterisk lol I'm not sure if I'm trolling or just being a cranky bitch this morning? I'm gonna go flip some tires then take a nap.

Looks great! How easy is it to take it off if you need to haul something tall?

Anyways, I agree. There are PLENTY of better options out there. I'll stick with my icons and be happy I didn't have to take out a second mortgage to own this pig. I mean rig. It's Friday, right?

Lol day off today. I actually think I just need a little break from the forums. Im starting to get upset when I see the repetitive silly questions. There is so much information on Tacomaworld that IMO, if one were to spend a couple of minutes looking they would find a wealth of information. Also what's with all the non-stop complaining about 3rd gens?

The real problem here is why does this bother me? What's wrong with me lol? Time for a hiatus. I pledge to not look at this thread for at least 3 hours!
    Pray for Mojo!

It was installed straight from the factory, they just charged me $220 to do it. A little check box on the order form was all it took.

    Ok it's not mine, but...
I pulled off the bank 1 valve cover. Sure enough, everything is lined up correctly.

Turns out it may simply be a failed sensor and all this was basically wasted time. I love working for free!

(Stalled and wouldn't start, multiple codes in ECU)

What I meant is they shouldn't charge a damn dime for the step installed on the truck straight out of the factory.

Nice you won't have to wax the truck or even wash it if you didn't want to. How many years you think the wrap will last? Camo wrap would work for me also.
