60 years old here. Drove 4X4's since high school.
Had Chevys, Fords, Jeep, International. Last truck was a crew cab GMC Sierra, with 230,000 miles. Ran like a top, just wanted something smaller.
Bought my first Toyota. 2015 DCSB, V-6, TRD-OR and love it.

57 here, this my second Toyota pickup, first was a 1985 4x4 (believe that was before they were called tacoma's) with a couple 4 runners in the middle.

Not a good idea...she might be "packing" (and I don't mean her groceries!)

BTW, 73 here...over the "many" years, Toyota p/u (first truck-1976), Mazda p/u, Nissan p/u, 2 Ford Rangers, 3 Tundra's (03', 05', 12'), now a 16' SR5 Tacoma. Really like the Tacoma so far (minor issues but all resolved). However, IMO, the best truck, for me, was the 05' TRD 4.7L Tundra...great size, good power, ran like hell, but "sh!tty mileage. Sold it after 7 years and 95K for $6K less than I paid for it. It never saw a dealership once after I bought it--always serviced by an independent garage. Reason I sold it was that it was due for a timing belt which I was quoted a grand to replace. The 00' - 06' Tundra must have been a good truck because I still see a ton of the them on the road. Now, at my age, I will probably trade when I need a set of tires-LOL! Like I told my wife, "If I could choose a way to go I would like to be shot in the back at 80 in a horizontal position by a jealous husband and hopefully the bullet wouldn't hit his wife." She didn't think that was funny at all:crapstorm:

2 Tacoma's I have owned every truck brand most 4x4. This is my favorite truck. I would like the truck to be higher like my 2003 Chevy 2500HD was. Aside from that min.complaints. My first Tacoma had a 22r motor in it best motor Toyota ever made as far as durability. Over all power and fun to drive my 4.0

53 and loving my Tacoma. Probably a few strange looks, but lots of reasons for that other than the Tacoma.

    61. I've had 4 Tacomas and a Tundra. I have never noticed anyone looking at me here in Minn. However I am the only oldster in Rochester that drives the speed limit (or faster). Everyone drives under and drives me nuts!
