    I found that stuff from another member on here who said he had a good experience with it. Used it in this same scenario actually. It's been awhile and I forget who it was

    My local (yocal) exhaust shop guy quoted me $160is for the reroute. Said he would prolly need a couple of attempts to get it right. Admittedly, he said he has only been at it a year or so.

    Sweet. Might want two of those heat shields. It'll also pass by the brake lines on the frame rail.

    I was under there yesterday. I was going to make heat shields. This will be much easier!

    Why would you need to remove the forward part of the drive shaft unless you're doing a major drivetrain overhaul? In which case ease of removal probably wont be your biggest problem.

    To replace the drive shaft...? I assume you can unbolt the carrier bearing and that will allow you to slide the front out backwards

    I dropped mine into the sand yesterday. I'm lucky it was sand because nothing happened to the pipe. I have video of it, as well.

    It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    Anyone else done a reroute on a 3rd gen? Need to do mine this week. I guess I'll do mine like the pic in this thread but maybe try to get it farther towards the rear and away from the actuator.

    late to the party but I'll be doing mine within the month. Gunna wrap whatever pieces are close to any plastics on the T-case even tho this was never an issue on my 08.

    i got my shirt dirty earlier today and looked underneath. from the flange nearest the rear passenger it looks like they are using a longer "Y" than the old ones. I might be wrong, but theres a good 6"+ from the flange before they fully split into separate pipes. that makes it more difficult than 2nd gens.

    I got my RCI skid plate system installed and I lost a lot of clearance under the transmission and transfer case cross members. I wish I would have known how to get the exhaust rerouted before i bought the plates. I know I can still get it rerouted and remove the spacer and cat bars and get a lot of it back.

    I was iffy about chopping up a brand new truck. That's a very tall speed bump
