Utah does look pretty awesome. I want to check out both states if possible.

I grew up exploring the Sierra Nevadas. So much to see and do. Love the weather.

I'm not necessarily talking about a wheeling trip specifically, but I'm sure people will.

I was thinking more of an excursion/camping trip to go explore places people haven't been before.

It's more that I don't know what trails there are, or where they start at. If I knew at least where a trail started and had an idea of difficulty then I would have no problem leading. After Joe's front end wasn't working right at Gallagher, I led everybody on the way back down.

My pasture. You may have to share it with 2 horses.

My property out in Christmas Valley. Though its not close to Portland. Not really close to anything. Very little light pollution though.

8 hour drive is too far? Just take 205 to 82 to 84 to 395 to 90 then head up Spokane. I was south of Portland for Tough Mudder with @JoeTacoma02 a couple years ago

Zoom in on Oregon, look for a dark spot. Christmas Valley is pretty good, especially out near the lost forest. http://darksitefinder.com/maps/world.html

Care to join me? Erica likes heat right? It's about 85-90 out here now. We usually get snow in the winter too, so you can make snowmen with your little spawn
