I have now had my 2016 Silver Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 for a week now and have put 600 miles on it. Driving it heavily and enjoying everything about it. I previously owned a 2015 Camaro that was a lemon and I refuse to ever buy another Chevy after that year of a bad car owning experience. I had a 2009 Tacoma before the Camaro and loved how reliable it was. Being 22 with a need for speed, I wanted a Camaro and that dream sure fell short. Getting used to sitting up in the air again, but man, I love this truck. It's sporty, reliable, will last forever and will look good with my snowboard gear in the back while I drive up the Colorado mountains. I would rate my Tacoma a 10 because it does exactly what it was designed to do and does not fall short for me. Very pleased with my purchase and can't wait to rack up the miles.

    Right now: (3)

If Toyota can fix my issues with rear differential howl, hood vibration/adhesive failure, leaf springs squeaking and driveline vibrations: (7.5)

If the motor and transmission had more low end torque and overall power: (9.5)

9.8/10, I don't any major gripes. Unlike 99% of posters here, I knew what I was buying.

    9.8/10 as well.

I get irritated when I drive near a 2nd gen Taco and the driver doesn't look at my truck lol

8 or 9 out of 10, same amount as all my previous. None were perfect but loved them all.

Can't think of anything on the market I'd want more right now.

8.5/10, taking it in for a TSB (rough shifting and R to D delay). Assuming that fixes the issues, easy 9/10 absolute ear to ear smile every time I drive it.

Jim, it definitely addresses the R to D Delay. Had mine done last Friday. As for rating 9.5 out of 10. Only the Harley get the 10! Very pleased with my truck since I was one of the first....

Had a snafu at the dealership. They wanted to keep it for most of the day. Said they need to contact Toyota to apply the TSB. I started to get a little heated when they handed me over to the Asst Service Manager. I dealt with him before on normal service and he said no worries, he's just going to do it and give me the truck back within an hour. Afterwards he asked me to call him in a few days and report if the TSB addressed the issues. He appreciated the feedback which paves the way for others to get the TSB.

9.5, would be a 10 if it weren't for the ugly ass orangish panels in my cab!

Since the TSB I'm going with a 9.5 only because I owned the 2nd generation Taco and I feel the performance of that truck was a lot better even after the TSB.
I love all the features of this new Taco and I am really enjoying the truck:thumbsup:

9.8 here, I test drove mine and understood it was not a V-8 but it could kick A$$ when I floored it. :D
Moreover, it had non of the problems of the chronic complaints here, and still doesn't.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
