I've read that this thing consumes about 56 amps when running. Should I leave the engine running while the compressor is operating? It won't be running for long to air up four tires, I can't imagine that would drain the battery significantly.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Its only 56 amps at 150 psi. Its lower at lower psi. I leave the truck running because it puts less stress on the battery because the alternator will be supplying it instead of the battery.

Its 28 amps at 0psi. So filling tires your around 35amps i would assume.

Just arrived. Now I need to call Slee and see if they have the bracket in stock so I can stop by and pick it up this afternoon.

    Stuff. Also things.
Hey Ramon, did you say that the vendor might be amenable to a deal for the manifold kit?

I'm not savvy enough to copy a link from my Amazon app, but I see the 171503 kit there for $69.99 on Prime.

    Thanks!

Still haven't installed the snorkel :anonymous:

I don't think so unless their business practices have changed. I used to work with the owner's best friend and he couldn't get me a discount.

It seems most people fabricate a bracket but I looked at their install instructions and they look pretty clear. I like when stuff just fits together :)

Got mine today as well! The box looked like it had been through a cement mixer though, a little better packaging would've been nice. Pretty quick service tho! Thanks for all your work Ramon!
