9 out of 10, have had mine for a few weeks now, have had no real problems with it. My only issues are etunes system could be improved, more seat adjustability would be nice.

9/10. There are some small gripes but overall I love this truck.

After 3 months of getting the runaround at toyota canada, of driving a vehicle that constantly gets stuck in gear, we are back up from a 3 to around a 5. It's pretty hard to enjoy the truck now knowing that I have been reefing the f*** out of the shifter and all they want to replace is the shift detent that solves the issue. It doesn't do anything for the damage cause by pushing on the shifter as hard as possible to pop it out of gear then smashing the next gear.

Toyota service in Canada = Worst ever....

If this thread is still alive after 150,000 hard miles I will rate mine then. Too soon to tell after only 15k.

Taking the price into account, 9/10.

Toyota is one of the worst brands for punishing the buyer with necessary/costly options packages, this truck is a refreshing change from that.

Gripes: Very short telescopic wheel, staggering clutch travel and the awful sharply-angled headrests.

    7. My 97 runner was much better on almost all accounts. Apparently some engineer said, "hey Bob, let's make a small truck into a full-size,complicate the hell out of it and make it ugly. The people will love it!"

I've had no problems with my truck...I'd give it a hard 9 it's not perfect but I've owned worse vehicles.

I give my 2016 TRD Sport a 9. Just had the software update done for the automatic transmission and I'very noticed the difference. Much better. Glad my TRD doesn't have those ugly orange trim panels.

Right now it's an 8 out of 10. Since my last dealer visit I am waiting for 2 license plate lights, plugs for the front suspension ( almost a month now) and when they come in I will get my transmission updated. Then the truck will move up to a 9. probably won't go above that as long as I am worried about the crankshaft position sensor.

Rear leaf springs replaced, front grind noise from the skid plate fixed but returned on the way back from the dealer. First brand new vehicle out of the last 4 that is having issues. R to D is also a thing for me. Why are these vehicles getting out of QA/QC? I still like the truck but damn man, what the hell? Unless I get a Tundra for some reason, this will be the first and last Toyota I ever purchase. After the supposed "fix" for the grinding failed today, I've had enough.
