That's your fault 1, for not test driving.
If he test drove it for 0.000000001% of the time he posts, 4200 times, all would be good.

Read the rest of his issues on this thread and the others then you will know his pain. He's had a lot of headaches with his truck overall.

    Hood ? Swap out.
    Tranny? TSB

    Hogs head replace

To dedicate 4200 posts all day long is- a loss for words.
Sell it and move on if you don't like the torque/power. It is what it is.

    6. Cannot provide a higher rating when the truck left me stranded and a tow was required due to a crank position sensor failure. About as unreliable as a used Pontiac Fiero or Solstice.

    Feel
indeed. Must be the free drinks they keep pumping to us since I am on a plane right now that has been stuck on a runway in Houston for over 45 minutes waiting on takeoff clearance. At least they have the Olympics opening broadcast on my seat monitor.

Had a 1980 Chevy C10- 6cyl 3 speed manual-great truck (8/10), 1990 Chevy S10 4cyl 5 speed manual- fair truck (6/10), 1997 Dodge Dakota 6cyl 5 speed manual- pretty good truck (8/10)- The 2016 Tacoma so far is a 9/10- no problems with the auto trans, vibrations, howling, etc The truck has some balls when I step on the gas, handles well, and I like the design/build. Compared to the last three trucks I owned, the Tacoma is really a step above (including price- what happened to pick ups in the last 20 years? Not for farmers, carpenters and ranch hands anymore, that's for sure). But That is what I like to drive, and I am thinking this will be the last one I own- hopefully it's going to last a long time, me too.

F'n A man! I shelled out 41k over 6 years for a 2 way adjustable seat? I can't complain though I seem to be lucky (probaby just jinx'd myself) that i have not had the many problems others have with their new trucks.

Well it lasted 19 years and it never once did not start when I turned the key, and the engine and tranny were "bullet proof"- I really liked that truck but it was time to move on.....
