Went to pick up lunch and apparently someone took one of those AEV jeep brute. To the badlands, which isn't to far from where I work. Thing lost its side mirrors and fender flares. And all I can think of was why take something that large to the badlands to ruin. But hey not my money.

Battery died. Got stranded and had to get boosted by a ranger. This is second time this happened. It randomly drops to about 9 volts Within an hour or so of sitting. After a boost it works perfect after and can be left for days at a time and still start.

I have 3" in the front w/ a 1.5" AAL in the back and am looking to replace the factory leaf pack since it has 245,000 miles on it. Not sure if I should go with a Progressive 3 leaf 1.5" AAL Pack or a Progressive 3 leaf pack that lifts the rear 2" with the overload out and 2.5" with it in. I'll be taking the overload out. I like the Headstrong progressive 3 leaf pack since it's free shipping and lifts it 2" with the overload spring out. But I don't want a raked truck. I only found threads about this on 2nd gens which are heavier than 1st gens. Can someone point me in the right direction? Maybe some pictures with both set ups on 1st gens? I don't ever haul stuff either. Thanks in advance!

I would, personally... but your truck, your tires.

It's possible they are not really a functional asymmetrical design, but Goodyear markeing said they must be in order to force the white letters???

Hmmm? I live in a mountain town (big bear lake, ca) and there are a TON of off road clubs that frequently come up here to wheel, Mainly jeeps. I see a lot of MT-R'S mounted on these dedicated trail rigs (one of my favorite looking tires). I don't think I have even seen one set-up mounted with the white letters out? Whould this mean that everyone probably mounts them backwards like @Fernando has? Or they are just fine to run that way?

I haven't looked at mtr's' however I know certain sizes come with white letters, while others do not. So the ones you are seeing could quite possibly be a size that isn't offered with white letters.
Sometimes the same tire size can be had with or without white letters as well. Very common
