Thats usually the case with everything. I've measured my parents forester and it has the interior width for a full sheet but there is no angle that the tailgate is wide enough even if you go corner to corner of the opening.

You used to be able to fit them in minivans but even those you can't anymore.

That's what I've been doing lately. when I need to move them I rent a little one from Uhaul for $20. I don't have the space to park a trailer and since most of the times I need to be able to move sheet goods its for my girlfriends house when her and her mom are doing renos, and they live downtown and the parking on their street is laneway parking. Not even possible to get a trailer back there. So that option is out.

I wonder if threads on the Ford forums about Raptor prices devolve into Tacoma bashing...

Good luck in finding a dealer letting you buy it for that price. Nice in theory, but not in practice.

One thing I hate about the Raptor. The ecoboost v6 which has issues with carbon buildup and the sound of a v6. Sorry it needs a v8, the sound of a v8
is like a piece of heaven.

    Wait, didn't you buy a truck with a I4 or V6?

What do you mean by this? The picture of the exhaust looks like the exact same as my 2011.

Where are you getting your numbers from because they're way off. You can get an entire suspension kit with 2.5" extended travel coilovers and rear shocks with reservoirs for way way less than $4000. The Toytec Boss 2.5" kit is $1800 w/o UCA. An Icon Stage 3 is $2700. OME BP51 is $3100. A Kings full suspension kit can be had for $3400. Fox for about $3600. Just depends on what level you are looking for but obviously way less than the 4k you stated.

If you have a trade in to a dealer you only pay sales tax on the NET difference amount in Washington State.
    I.E, 40,000$ new taco - 25 ,000$ trade in = you pay sales tax on 15,000$.
If you are an Oregon resident they have ZERO sales tax!

There are people who can afford it, so its no big deal to them. It all depends on how deep your pockets are lined.

My dealer I bought my SR from had a cavalry blue manual Pro on the lot and I asked him about it. He said they've had 3 Pro Tacomas and sold every one within a few days of them arriving.

I could afford a TRD Pro but I'm old now and cheap (38). I'm not going to drive a piece of crap but I don't need the fanciest thing on the lot either. That's why they build the SR for tightwads like me.:D
