What's that usually run? Mine seem to heat up coming down passes, even though i downshift and try to avoid using the brakes. By the end if i need to brake hard, my steering shakes like a paint shaker. But it's mostly fine around town.

Ahh.so it's prob better to just get new rotors now? They said they were getting almost to thin. And I should put new pads on? Mine have a lot of material left though.

I'm not sure on the cost, they discount brake labor to compete as best as possible with Midas/BrakesPlus. I don't get too involved with cost numbers

New rotors can still pulsate if you are dealing with a hidden issue like a bent wheel hub. If you do get new rotors do a thorough job of cleaning the mounting surface. If they still pulsate after that you might get it diagnosed rather then throwing parts at it.

Ok, thanks, I'll have to take it all apart again and double check how clean it is. if it was a hub wouldn't it shake at speed without braking? I've had it down hill fast and it doesn't shake but only when braking. And it goes away under 50 mph

A bent hub might not be felt while driving depending on how bent. .003" can cause a pulsation but tires have more then that when they are brand new.

I'm literally the farthest thing from a morning person and my job requires me to wake up at 3:20. It's awful.

A small handful of select mods.
I picked up STOP TECH slotted Rotors and pads for the truck on the last round. They have been great with the 315's. I am gonna get a set for the 4 runner here soon.
