Anyone using the Nite Ize steelie? I have been trying to get mine to stick onto my dash and it just doesn't want to stick on at all. same thing with the part that attaches to my phone. Seems like it would be really hard to pull off after 2 hours of sitting on my phone right?

I use it in mine. Stuck to the dash and my otterbox case without issue. Did you clean the surfaces with the wipe it came with? I have used mine a bunch and it has not budged.

I tried it, couldn't get it to stick. First try followed directions and it fell off. Second try used duplicolr wax and grease remover to clean the area, still fell off. I gave up!

Hm. Strange. If you want to sell yours I'll buy it. Mine came with an extra adhesive pad or two. I wonder if you guys just got bad batches of adhesive?

I use one and love it. I don't think I'll ever be able to get it off though, it's basically cemented on. I was a little concerned at first but all the off-roading and bumps I can throw at it and the phone doesn't budge.

weird. did you guys wait the 24 hours? I got a little impatient but I figured 24 hours was a bit excessive. One thing occurred to me, and I can't seem to find any info on the web, I use a iphone 6 plus. could that be too heavy? But if you are using an otter box @nevadabugle then it doesn't seem like weight should be much of an issue.

I did use alot of pressure when I installed on the phone and the dash. Not sure if that's the problem. I vote for detective adhesive.

    Edit: defective not detective....

It took me a little bit to figure out how to take a picture of my phone with my phone. Luckily I remembered all those shitty selfies all the 20 somethings take in the bathroom mirror. I guess you can consider this my first mirror selfie.20160806_065036.jpg

Haha! Thanks, I was thinking about putting one on the top of the bezel to the right of the steering wheel.

I like it down low there. It is close to my charger so I don't have to have a cable stretched across the cab.

I put mine in a completely different spot, on the bezel right below the air vent to the right of the steering wheel. I can take a pic tomorrow but I really like it there. Don't have to move my head much from the windshield and my hand is already right there.
