It's a display that plugs into the OBD-II connector under your dash and can display a bunch-O-information. In addition to displaying what the truck's ECU reports, it can calculate some things like miles to empty, mpg for tank, trip and since reset. If you're interested in getting the best fuel mileage from your truck, it is well worth the purchase price. It shows instantaneous mpg so you know how much damage you do when you mash that accelerator. ;) I have mine set to show mpg/trip, coolant temp, miles to empty and instantaneous mpg by default.

Edit:It can also display and reset scan codes like other OBD-II scan tools.

It's the best 120$ you will ever spend on your truck. Trust me.

    None yet! It's new!
There's an easier way than worrying about tire size/percentage/diameter/whatever... beg, borrow, steal, or buy a GPS. While at a steady speed and the GPS has stabilized at a given speed, simply adjust the ScanGauge speed to match. There you go.

What does the scanguage read from when displaying MPH? As in where does it get the info sent from. I have larger tires and i KNOW that my speedo is off by about 5mph.
