Same here. People you would have never thought would go down that road..... and maybe some you kinda figured would, but wished didn't.

Thats why I couldn't believe last week when I heard the pot copters returning for the first time in years to pull peoples medicinal (or not) marijuana plants up; and how much money did they spend on that raid??? Wheres the heroin raids dudes? Nobody gives a shit about pot anymore, pour the funding into stopping the heroin crisis, please.

Didn't get a drop of rain here today. I took advantage of the low key day and was able to get out on the motorcycle for a few hours. First time on it in about a month, felt amazing!

 

Took advantage of the lack of rain here today to finish installing my skids. Sky just darkened up here and I can hear thunder in the distance. I think I got done just in time.

Was it a pain to drill through the frame for the rear skid? I have yet to do that because I didn't want to drill....

Got @DoubleRGirl CB setup done and ready for the trip. I still need to tweak it a bit but otherwise its installed and douchey as ever...

Was a piece of cake. Started with a 3/16" pilot hole then went to a 3/8". The frame is fairly soft steel and I had a nice sharp set of bits to work with.

Good thing you didn't need to drill into the reinforced part of the frame. The hardened steel they use is no joke

 

Which section of the frame is that? I had to drill right behind the boxed section, one hole per rail just beside the welds and one a little further back where it's open C-channel.

Very true. It really is an epidemic at this point. Sadly, a lot oftimes it starts as prescribed meds or people with mental issues who self-medicate

I leave mine on all the time too. I usually have it on when I go backand forth to my Maine office just yo grass what's going on, especially in the winter when it's snowing.

I think it seems more common now versus a generation ago because there's less of a stigma to it (while we still have a long way to go )
