I changed the title of this thread. Your title, "Dumb ass question", was probably not gonna get the attention of someone who could help with your decal question.

Here's some measurements for you courtesy of @Solid Seung:

    Driver's side

Assuming your going for factory placement. As you can see, the front of the decal actually sits slightly lower than the back. I think it's done this way to compensate for the differences in the curve of the fender (it bulges out more at the front of the truck, than the back). If the measurements are the same at the front, and back of the decal., when you stand back, the decal looks crooked. I used these measurements to install mine, and they are spot on. They look nice and level.

Also, the factory decals recommend using the wet install method. I used this, and it worked pretty well. However, there were still tiny bubbles left when I was done (I used a squeegee thoroughly, maybe too thoroughly). This was not an issue though as they worked themselves out after a day. Decal is now nice and smooth, just like it was factory installed.

I'm also doing the wet install method and will use your measurements to double check it when it's wet.

One thing you can do as well to line it up, is use a piece of masking tape to hold it in place (one piece down the center). That way you can make adjustments before you peel the backing off, and leave it in place while you peel the backing off one side.

It's OEM so I think the edges on each of the sides should line up with the tail light and fender flare. I'm hoping. Yes on the masking tape to eye ball and measure.
