Just stick it in the slot till it hits the other cd then give it a little wiggle. It will usually eject out normal then.

Probably not. I know that the radio that came with mine (older) could only manage mp3 or wma.

One of the big problems with things like conventional car radios and other "big name" consumer electronics, is that they need a license to play back mp3 and other patented/nonfree formats, and that license will usually come with anti-competitive restrictions, like do not include anything that is *free*, like vorbis or flac. Of course it won't be worded like that, it'll be worded with some key words like "security" that suggest that they refuse to be part of a system with compromised security and that only (X) patented products are certified (by them, of course) to be strong security, and thus allowed to be included in any product along side mp3.

Basically, this company called "MPEG LA" doesn't want anybody to use anything besides their products, because they get paid for it. Going right out and saying that you can't also include ANY competitive product is illegal, so they have a short list of acceptable alternatives, usually including "WMA" (windows media audio) property of microsoft, which NOBODY would ever use since it is incredibly poor quality. So if you look at the labels on the front of most head units, if they say mp3, they probably also say wma -- in order to sneak around the anti-competitive laws.

But because so many people use mp3, it is very difficult to drop support for that in order to open up support for something like Vorbis or FLAC, since people only know what they see, and they see mp3.

There are a few companies out there that are able to get around this and include support for basically everything.
Typically, anything in CHINA can get around it, by not caring. They'll pirate anything and sell it to you. Joying or similar aftermarket head units ship with lots of pirated software preinstalled.
Another company that can get around this is GOOGLE. MPEG LA won't get into a fight with Google, because Google will raise hell for them. Google is big enough that if it came down to it, they could drop mp3 and show you a popup on your Android device that explains how evil MPEG LA is. Most audio on Android devices (ringtones, UI sounds, etc.) are in Vorbis encoding.

Took mine to the dealer yesterday considering it should be a warranty issue. Mine just won't eject at all and dealer wanted $700 to send it to the manufacturer for them to fix.

If your truck is under 36k, then u have a bumper to bumper warranty. I'd tell them to do it then send the bill to toyota.

I have had multiple issues with getting CD's out of my entune HU, and actually had a service appointment set up and after shutting the truck off and starting it later to go out, I just hit the eject button and it came out, I have not used it since and cancelled the service appt. Not sure what they can do with no CD in it so I figured I would just cancel the apt? I just use a thumbdrive now...but will talk to the dealer before my 36k/36 month warranty ends. sorry not much help, but I have had issues.
