Man the SR package was a great way to hook up a base model Taco! Had to wait 4 mos for it however.

Im scared shitless about the availability of replacement smoked headlights for the 2012-15 bodies though. Havent seen too many!!

 

Find a need a fill it... has always been the mantra for those who want to make a buck. Give it time, they will come.

Where i live in New England theres a lot sand and rocks on the road and its hell on headlights. Not to mention theres a lot of critters that enjoy leaping out in front of you at 75mph...

Can some of you SR owners confirm you have the shark fin antennas?

Isn't that the XM antenna though, does the SR have XM already in it? I didn't think so... Hmm

 

I don't have a SR... from all the pictures I have seen they don't. The option for the HD, Premium Double Din Sound is not available to the SR. Waiting for some one to chime in.

 

It's odd because I have seen pictures now of people with SR model DCs and there is a shark fin antenna on it.

Makes complete sense to just wire all DCs the same and depending on what dash It gets determined the steering wheel right side controls.

glad I went with grey. Friend got all black and I just don't like them as much.

265 C - yes. I can't remember off the top of my head but it's a substantial weight difference in the tires. Those rims weren't exactly light weight so tried to keep the weight down as much as I could and still a higher load and speed rating than the OEM steelies.

So I see now that Toyota is supposed to be stopping those dark allows being offered as an option on SR models in 2017.

Guess my out the door price will be a little less and I'll be rocking 16" steelies until I decided want rims I like. I'd loved to run those KO2s in that C-rated 265.

 

I have a shark but no xm. I think all what you need is just a module. I didn't do research so can't say for sure. I don't care about xm, I have unlimited data

 

^Same here. I have the shark fin but no XM. The audio source button doesn't show an option for it either..

 

What kind of creatures can leap at 75 MPH?

 

Here in Illinois deer jump out of a corn field in one leap at anytime and all you can do is grip the steering wheel and say a few choice words before you hit them! I try not to drive early mornings or in the evenings.

 

We got them jet powered deer out in these parts...
