Get 650's

 

Don't get stuck in the mud pits....

 

I think you'd have a better ride with less preload even though it's a stiffer spring

 

I barely have any preload lol I had more with my 650s on the icons. These still need to be cranked down 2 more to lower it a small bit.

 

I'm by no means a spring expert but from what I've seen icons seem to run with more preload. When I was running 600's they came with about 3/4" of threads showing. I had to go another 6 turns to get it where I wanted and it road much stiffer.

 

Yeah the passenger side now with the kings is like 1/2". Driver side is more but needs to come down 1/4" or so of threads still. Trying to go little at a time with the cranking to lower because it's such a pain to adjust.

So I was on ruff stuff website and found a bung and round plate on the clearance section that gave me the idea for adjustable pad. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com...TGY&Category_Code=Garage&Store_Code=ruffstuff
I welded a bolt to the round plate that screws into the bung that's welded to the ubolt top plate. There's a jam nut to keep it from spinning in or out. This cost me $10 per side.

@LTDSC Bro you need 650s totally. Your truck could explode at any moment with the 600s. Don't be that guy.

Drove home and the ride is great...truck leveled out......but ummm...i just busted a tranny hose trying to relocate my windshield washer tank....ooops.....brb

 

I no longer have the time or patience to clean under the truck. Last time it took me over an hour and $25 at the quarter was and I still didn't get it all off. No thanks
