I had just about every problem mentioned above including my resi hose getting rubbed through to the cords in just one trip. We came up with the following solutions :

Resi hose getting rubbed and being in the way of the collar - during a rebuild I went to Crown and had custom hoses made to mimic what Fox does with the 90 fittings. As you can see it really fixes both issues ( for 2 yr + old Kings with the NPT fitting ) it gets the hose clear of the UCA and opens up room to work that adjustment collar.

Resi mounts conflicting with double shear gussets - I had the older style King resi mounts that hold the resi horizontal and they would not work with the gussets. I cut the " cup " off of the resi mount and cut the mount to resemble the newer style King resi mounts in that triangle shape. Bolted the mount back on, put the resi in the cup and held it in place then tacked it, took it back off and fully welded it. So, now The resi is clear of the gusset, hose has a clean curve to it, hose clears the UCA at droop and the resi clears the tire at lock.

I can get you these same custom hoses from Crown if you ever want them. I've helped a few other TW members get the same brake lines and resi hoses.

Method center caps are complete shit, let me guess - the metal insert is still there but the plastic cosmetic part is missing ? That part breaks off soooo easily by just taking off / putting wheel back on. If the center cap falls back in the hole just a bit so that the plastic part is just inside the wheel when you lift the tire the center cap catches a lug etc and it ends up supporting the weight of the wheel it shears that plastic cap off like a guillotine...ask me how I know :/

That plastic cap is held onto the metal ring with just three extremely small screws. It is a really good idea to put a small bit of glue on the metal part so that it holds it into the wheel and the center cap always comes with the wheel.

Just put a touch of silicone or glue on them to hold them in the wheel and it will cure that prob.

I just remembered at one point I noticed that the caps were getting lose so I pulled one of those little screws out and went to Lowes and got some screws that were just a hair bigger and installed them with red loctite and they have stayed solid since then. Just be really careful about the length of the screws, I had to use a washer under the head of each screw to keep them from poking through the outside of the cap.

mine are the kind that pop in to the metal ring like OEM style. Not the actual bolt on. Mine has the bolts but they're just for looks.

Look at the back of the cap, aren't there three tiny screws that hold the plastic cap to the metal ring ? None of them have real bolts, just 3 tiny screws in the back. I fixed some for a couple of friends and they all had the crews in the back...

Huthinsons all come with a grey cap which looks ridiculous on black wheels, tried painting them but ended up just tossing them out.
