What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

2011, 2016, 2013 stumpjumper mounted on the cover. Rhyme in the back tailgate.

 

Spent the weekend down at the Red River Gorge in KY. Did some Kayaking, hiking and camped out in the outfitted Taco. RTT, home made rack, yakima bars and ARB awning.

 

I think that's what I'm going with, as much as I'd really like the Cepeks. I just don't do enough off-roading to justify that aggressive of a tire.

The width is 1.2" it almost sits flat between the ribs. I have little neoprene washers between the track and the bed to get it to sit flat.

 

Installed an aftermarket car alarm.

Been running the Wildpeaks on my taco 2 days after I picked her up. Pretty sure you'll be happy with them. Kept mine the same size as the stock tires so I didn't have to make any adjustments. They're quiet, look good and my mpg's rub about 16-17. Hope this helps in your decision.

Just realized I saw you parked out in front of my studio back in May. Truck looks great. How are you liking the gears? Im going to look into the same thing this fall. Good to know a shop in San Diego thats already done it.

 

I went 265/65/17 what offset did you go with? I cant remember if there were more options than +18

How is the plank secured to the tonneau cover? I’m guessing the plank holds the bikes in place and tie strap the bikes down?

 

Was able to finally put aside enough time to do a full new truck detail, since my garage is full and my Taco has to stay outside. Took 6 hours....sore as heck today but it was worth it. Got a coat of protection on the paint and ready for the year.

 

What company did you purchase all this from?

 

I went with 265/70/17. It's with the 18 offset.

 

Nice, I almost went with method NV's with a zero offset. I would have needed flares and I didn't want to deal with those
