haha dude that's exactly what happened to my t-case skid plate at Miller Jeep Trail the first time I did it, came down hard on a rock and bent that sucker just like yours. Caused some nasty grinding sounds when shifting because it had been pushed up into the transfer case. Especially under high RPM until I got it bent back into place.

yeah it seems to be a bigger worry for first gens, not really sure why other than maybe because they're just older in general and more prone to failure. Definitely something I want to look into beefing up though, I'm not so much worried about breaking one and losing a wheel on the trail as I am damaging one on the trail and losing a wheel on the highway trip back home :goingcrazy:

@eon_blue @digitaLbraVo I think we are still on for mod day this Sunday. @SlipperyTaco to confirm. I got a bunch of stuff to do.
Fog light anytime mod, Traction control anytime mod? , Put the LCA skids back on, Some minor trimming, quick fist mounts for shovel, re-work halo power source, touch up my scratches from pilot rock, check for any loose bolts, rig up a whip mount for pismo, clean interior, map out some custom skid plates. Also help everybody with there stuff as needed.

Yup I picked that one up on Amazon about a month ago. One of the best purchases I've made honestly, being able to communicate on the trail is important but you don't really realize how important until you've got a radio. Plus it's fun to be able to BS a little back and forth with others while you're wheeling :blahblah:

At that price grab yourself 2 or 3. There's always some that haven't got around to picking up a radio so it's nice to lend them out so everyone has one. Pick up the study book for your license. Many don't have a license and that's cool, however the license is so easy to get why not be done with it? I read a couple chapters a week for one month and took the test at my local VA hospital where I work. Easy peesy.:wink:

Word. Being a power plant operator I associate a lot of the jargon to my field of work. Best bet is identifying trigger words. No need to really understand the question completely. Like most tests, it's all about process of elimination.
