Disc golf

So who all on here likes to sling a ltitle plastic in their free time?

I play in a weekly doubles league and played in my first PDGA event this past weekend.

I try to play in different areas when I travel as well. What are some cool courses out where everyone is from?

 

Disc golf is always fun.
I believe it's Morley field over by north park in San Diego Is where I frequented a few years back along with a course in Carlsbad and another in Oceanside I think.
Always fun to crack some tall cans out on the course.

I took 5th in intermediate division. I thought it wasn't too bad for my first real tourney.

I'd like to come to cali to play some of the original courses that it all started on!

 

Always enjoy playing a round of discgolf. Just played in a battle of the aces event. Lots of fun.

Do you guys have a full set of discs?
I think the only one disc I ever bought was a driver.

Oh yeah I've got a full set lol. I have the whole deal. Backpack bag and all.

 

Discs for me are like knives... If you know how many discs you have, you don't have many discs..
But I really only throw about three regularly with a few others used in certain wierd situations.
I used to live in Mass where there are tons of really great courses like borderlands, maple hill, devens. I also really love dragan up in ME. I live in the Shenandoah valley in VA now and haven't been playing as much because I just haven't fallen in love with the courses around here and have less buds around who play. But whenever I get out there it is always a good time.

I played once. Pissed off just as much as normal golf.

 

Played in a qualifier for the USDGC doubles qualifier. Fell a few strokes short of winning. Disappointing part is we left a bunch of strokes out there. Definitely could have pulled out the win.

 

My dad came out to watch my first tournament and said it's uncanny how much ball golf translates into disc golf. Even the mental part of the game.

I want a new bag really badly. My wedding and truck are getting all the "extra" $$$ atm

 

I had a Grip bag that was stolen out of my jeep about 3.5 months ago. We had a dynamic discs rv roll through about a month later and the DD guy running the rv GAVE me a lightly used ranger bag after my buddy told him what happened. It was pretty cool.

I've got a handful. Not a million but some pretty cool holes and places I've traveled and played etc.

 

Went to the national championship last year to see my Clemson Tigers play Alabama. The day after the game we rented a car and checked out Sedona Az. My brother and I brought discs in our bag incase we would get to play. Well on the way back down to Phoenix I used Udisc to find a course and we played a round with a awesome back drop of snow capped mountains.

Also played down in Miami we when went to the orange bowl.


I camp at Chickfila grand openings. So I borrow my friends basket to practice putting when I do haha.

Timmons is the park closest to me and where I play random dubs each week. We tend to stay out there too late sometimes haha.

This is a beautiful hole at a course north of here in Spartanburg called the "pipeline"

This is a buddy of mine playing at the course in Central. That's the course I played this past Sat in the qualifier.

Herees Hole 14 at Central. Its an island hole. If you don't land on the island your OB and have to make a 40 putt from a drop zone for a par save.
