    Yeah...that's a great idea except I don't have a 2017 in my driveway.
    But to the point, I didn't say I had an opinion one way or the other on the 3.90 vs 4.30 debacle, just that the villagers are lighting their torches before knowing the facts.

    I wonder if automotive magazines ever give this kind of change any coverage. Probably not. Glad I held off on a 2016. My furnace blowing up didn't help either but at least now I know the DCLB I will get will have more torque down low for towing my little Casita camper.

    According to the picture @smitty99 posted showing "A04D" for the axle, The link above would show that the 2017 has 3.73 gears?????? Now I am really confused......

    So they changed the gear ratio for 2017 but couldn't plug the lower control arm holes? Highly unlikely.

    yeah that document is pretty garbage looking in general. not meant for public consumption, just an internal marketing tool.

    occam's razor suggests it is far more likely that this is a typo. this place is insane sometimes!
