Hello all, I wanted to do a brief introduction here before really navigating the works of this forum. My name is Jay; I'm a long time lurker, first poster, and second-time Tacoma owner.

My first Tacoma, 2015 DCSB TRD Sport 6mt, was purchased new in February 2015, without doing much research following a winter accident. In a short 16 months, I managed to add 31,000 miles without a single issue, involving two cross country round trips. After the first journey around the country, I started thinking that a larger truck may have been a better idea. After the second trip, this time traveling with a partner, I knew a larger truck was necessary. The truck needed to be used to work (landscaping), hauling motorcycles, dirt bikes, fly rods, snowboard gear, sleeping/camping, etc. - many of which, the 5' bed fell short.

After a couple months of searching I landed on the right candidate for my DCSB's replacement: 2014 DCLB TRD Sport.

    Thanks for reading!

NOTE: Century Cap (5' bed), Undercover Hard Tonneau (6' bed) and Toyota running boards will all be for sale shortly.

    Thanks all!

Is anyone familiar with these TRD Superchargers? I know theres threads upon threads debating the worthwhile-ness of them, but so far I'm enjoying it. As far as I know, they're supposedly 100k miles service-free, but I'm curious if there's any preventative maintenance I should be doing in the meantime for reliability's sake. Its covered under warranty to 100k as well, but I don't know how in depth a dealer would go with servicing them.

I thought it might be better to post here than get bashed for starting a new thread about an old topic.

I lived in Bradford for about 23 years and have since moved to central PA for the last 4 years or so.

Congrats on your Tacoma and welcome!

The S.C. will need to be rebuild every 75K, I installed mine about 30k ago. If you don't all ready have one, I'd recommend you install an oil catch can.
