    I just went down to my local dealer and they had a 2017 OR on the lot. It had a huge cock hanging off the diff so it looks like the 4.30 is legit.

    Yep that was what I was thinking also.... But, I ran the stock 3.73 in my '08 FJC with 33s and 35s.. 35s it was sluggish but with 33's I really did not notice that much difference.

    So I anm guessing 3.90 w/33's would be ok for the most part, 4.30's would be nice....

    Also while you're at it ask why he didn't put power seats and some gorilla glass for the gauges instead of that shitty plastic that even baby fingers will scratch

    Could you also please ask him to make the sunroof a different package from the climate control and heated seats. My tall ass couldn't get those because of the the sunroof

    Honestly, does the gear ration mean much to me, nope. I drive an APR tuned VW GTI with over 300ft lbs. of torque, it is plenty fast 0-60 for me. I test drove the TRD Off Road and was impressed with the firm ride and acceleration, is it as fast my current GTI? Hell no, I don't expect it to be, it's a truck. Both have their purpose, my car is for daily driving and my Tacoma will be for hauling my gear around on the weekends. I don't plan on towing with the Tacoma either so any fixes/changes made to the '17 before I order mine I hope will be for the better overall drive ability.
