Both? Taking my truck out currently is kind of a pain in the ass in regards to prep work, how far you can drive it before you need to trailer it, and its not really practical to throw the dog and some gear in the back and head up to the rim for a long weekend. My GF bought a 16 a couple weeks after they came out and they have really grown on me. I still like the WRX, I had no issues with it and it was a super fun car to drive but again simply not a practical car to use to head up north for a weekend.

Plans are "simple" for this one.

    Icon Stage 7 Billet Uppers
    Rear Air Bumps
    285/75/17 Toyo MT
    Method NVs
    Bed Rack
    RTT
    Hidden Winch Mount
    Skids and Sliders

Every thing I build for myself looks pretty much the same anyway, If it aint broke dont fix it. Same wheel and tire combo as my 08 and the Tahoe.

It will be very similar to one of the first 3rd gens we did actually, with a few extra bells and whistles. the 285/75s fit awesome on these trucks.

:D I like Cooper too.. and my Coopers. lol

Didnt even think to look at Nitto.. oh well.. sounds like you guys like the Zeons so thats a good start.

She was really wanting the Toyos.. but they just arent the tire she needs.. in fact I had to show her all the specs and info to convince her to go with the Coopers. lol

damn. good to know tho. Will keep in mind if these dont work out.

    Blasphemy!!

thats one reason I would sway away...

but.. honestly.. most molded coolers these days are about equivalent. some are definitely better than others, some have gadgets to entice you. I like the Yeti because its time tested, more so than most others anyways, is basic (rubber bearproof latches, no skid feet, thats it) and its tough! not to mention how well it does.

whaaaaaaa...... Congrats man! traded the Subie?

Agreed, barely any chop at all on the cab mount and they fit! Plus the 34 is just perfect size tire! Looks amazing.

Jason was the one who 1st showed me the 34 a few years ago there at SDHQ. I haven't looked back since.

SDHQ going to do a recessed grille for the 3rd gen?

you wont regret that decision! so bomb, just be sure it doesnt get dry and add your tomato sauce early enough that it can thicken but not too early that it burns, if you do that kinda thing.

yea, its still at Vivid right now while they use it to fit some new parts for Agency Power. I have it listed right now cuz I would like to sell it outright before so I dont have to strip it, other wise theres going to be a "strip the subie" party somewhere one night haha

lmao, all things considered he is probably the reason I pulled the trigger when I did. Once he told me what they gave him for the WRX and i drove his with the intake I was completely sold.

I did, under no circumstances would I buy a half ton and a diesel dd all the way out to the shop everyday would destroy my bank account. I'll just keep borrowing rigs if i need to tow once ever other month lol

    Will do!

This is a BBQ meatloaf. I used one of my homemade rubs to season and didn't have any homemade BBQ sauce, so I am using a famous dave's sweet & sassy sauce. a little in the meatloaf and I will coat it at about 2 hrs 45 of cooking.

I keep an apple juice & worcestershire mix in a spray bottle in the fridge. What ever I am smoking gets a spritz of it every 45 mins to help prevent drying out. That was recommended in my smokers manual/cook book.

I also have a pork loin in the slow cooker, steaks are marinating, veggies ready to be smoked, and a fresh batch of gazpacho freshly made in the fridge.

I have to work in Payson all week, so I am cooking for the wifey and kids. Set them up to eat great all week while I'll most likely end up eating out.

It was a pretty good year considering!!! We moved, wife got that diagnosis, lost half our income.... but found TW can still keep me busy, somehow money works, and we love our new state and I really dig the folks I'm getting to know!!!! Yes Brian, I think I will have ANOTHER fantastic year! My glass is so half full!!!!

    No workie?????

I have the Yeti 45 and a smaller "K2" from Amazon. Quality, strength, thickness, I can't tell the difference except the K2 was affordable. If I can find me a deal on a fridge, I'll sell off my Yeti!

    Will be tomorrow.

Just get the RTT and call it even! We'd appreciate sound proof walls!!! LOL

Thank you all for the BDay wishes!!!

You do a 50/50 beef and pork for the loaf? Oats and eggs for the structure?
