2010 DC TRD SPORT w/o TOW?

Still looking for a 2010 DC TRD Sport and have seen a bunch in the Mid Atlantic region that do not come with the tow package. I emailed the dealer saying that this is the truck I was looking but wanted the (TO) tow package. He said (prerunner) TRD DC's in the Central Atlantic region do not come with Tow package. Is this true? Anyone confirm as I have never heard of such a thing.

 

I dont see why they wouldn't. Thats whack.

 

out here in california they all seem to come with the tow package. Its weird, but they do. I havent seen one TRD packaged Tacoma Dub Cab with out it yet.

 

I was under the impression that all TRD packages included the tow package.

 

I thought so too. I'm pretty sure its like that here in Canada anyway, figured the States would be the same.

 

Have ya just been emailing the dealer or have ya actually gone to see the tacomas for yourself to confirm they have tow package or not? Just a thought.

 

All the ones I have looked here in NY have the tow package.

 

i looked at a 09 swb trd dc that didnt have the tow package. had everything else i wanted.. but i needed a tow package.

 

This dealer has a couple w/o the tow. There prices are very good but i do want the tow, mostly for the other things in the package. Dealer response was just get a hitch when I bring it home, lol. These dealers are just horrible and will just try to sell you what they see infront of them.

I do not plan to do alot if any towing but feel I need the tow package. Agree? Again its not so much the hitch but the other stuff that comes with it, ALt, batt, etc. Are there people here on the forum that have a TRD Sport w/o the TOW?
