    Man, I need some time off of work so I can put on my lift, been working every damn day since purchase. Put them on my Stealth 6"s with 4.3 " of backspacing, and they rubbed terribly. Brought one of the mounted tires into the living room so I can at least see and smell my new rubber. Yeah, I'm that ate up.

    Installed OME 887's @ 0 on my 5100's, AllPro UCA's, Wheelers HD 3 leaf AAL, along with my air bags. SCS Stealth 6's with 285 70 17 MTP's, rides smooth and no vibes at present. Really like the way this truck is turning out, as it drives great and wheels awesome with the new tires.

    Been messing around with tire pressures, went up and down from 35 psi, and found that on my heavy for a Tacoma (5000 lbs ) 37.5 psi has quieted the tire noise some what, and rolling resistance feels better with a little more air in there.

    6000 miles on the tires, had them rotated and they are looking good on tread wear, no problems. Have had them sunk in mud, sand, both at the same time, roots, high speed pavement. All conditions covered nicely.

    11K and change miles on the MTP's, bought a 4 wheeler and now the tires see mostly pavement, holding balance just fine, wear looks good, and even. I'm going to be looking for a 255-80 next time around.

    Are the MTP's similar to the Mud Claws that y'all make? The only difference I see is the sidewall pattern..oh and price

    I'm not familiar with the Mud Claw M/T as this is a tire/brand we do not offer. At quick glance, the Mud Claw M/T appears to have a different tread pattern down the center of the tire that offers a little more void; shoulder lugs are similar.

    Anyone have any experience running these on 305/70/16 vs 285/75/16? Only difference I really saw was that the 305 is 12" wide and the 285 is 11.2" Going to call on Tuesday to order a set of these and am curious on the 2.

    The two are pretty similar. Both are 10-ply rated, have the option of whi and Q speed rated.

    Two main differences in addition to the total section with: the 285/75R-16 has a slightly higher load carrying capacity, 126 vs 124, and the 285/75R-16 has a higher max pressure capacity, 80 PSI vs 65 PSI.
