You bet! Ill get as detailed as i can. Its basically a 3" abs pipe with end caps essentially.

It took me one time cleaning dried bugs off the window for me to want this thing lol. The pipe itself fits perfectly in that open area. Its the brackets im making to hold it that are proving annoying.

Hahaha if it works it works

I tried using a Nalgene bottle... leaked everywhere, haven't had a reservoir since. My windshield always looks like someone threw eggs at it.

Alright, fellas. Just like you said, it was only gasket material holding the ADD tube to the diff, so I have that assembly removed.

Now I'm fighting the stub shaft. ECGS says that you should be able to either pry it out with two pry bars or strike it with a small punch from the driver side. I've tried both, and maybe I'm just a wuss, but it ain't comin'. I think the ECGS write up was for 2nd gen; is there something about 1st gen diffs that I'm missing? Again, thanks in advance!

Put two pry bars on it and give it a decent pop.

It's held in just like a CV, so you don't need a ton of force, just a quick snap.

Ahh! That makes sense! I was going for steady pressure and it wasn't budging. Thanks, Brett!

3/16 steel, beefier would be an understatement.

    Success!

Question: I'm getting ready to throw the stub shaft right back in the new diff. Anything I need to be aware of? I noticed that the ARB apparently omits the needle (?) bearing on that side.

    Beef, indeed.

I'm listening... The only other one I've seen was from Low Range Off Road, I think.

Done! Just taaaaaaaped it in with a dead blow until I felt the splines catch and then tapped it til it stopped. Couldn't really tell if it 'snapped' in, but I think I'm good. Off to buy some Ultra Gray tomorrow for the rest of the job!

    Thanks for the help, fellas!
