    Correct but could be corrected via gear changes and ecm. Its a slight difference so wont be that detrimental

    It is possible.... it may depend on the driving. Sometimes with higher gear ratio, better city driving mpgs happen.

    Man I would be pissed if I knew this before I got the TSB Software Update.
    Truck hauls absolute ass now. Can't imagine the torque on a similar tune with the 4.3 gearing tho haha.

    Why is everyone making such a big deal?? I'm glad Toyota realized they screwed up and are trying to do something to fix the problem. If it makes that big of a difference, just get the rear end of the '16 regeared and it will essentially be the same

    WHY OH WHY would they improve the gearing on the auto and SCREW the gearing on the manual? I mean what reason on earth could they have for doing such a thing? I hope this gets confirmed or denied quick because I have an order in for a MT pro as we speak. If it's the case, I may need to change to auto.
