    Which book? The NCF or something else from Toyota USA?

    The NCF shows the correct ratios from what I am seeing.

    Definitely looks like typos to me in that book. Everything I have says it is as I said it was, including the parts catalog and NCF book from the factory. (Generally, but not always, I'll trust that information over what is in a sales guide).

    2016-2017 Tacoma NCF Book (Pub. No. NM26L0U, Model Year 2017, Production 08/2016- ):

    Front Differential: 6AT and 5MT: 3.91, 6AT and 6MT: 4.30
    That can be a bit misleading, because they are talking about ALL 4WD models. The 2TR 6AT has 4.30 and the 2TR 5MT has 3.91 while the 2GR 6AT has 3.91 and the 2GR 6MT has 4.30.

    Rear Differential (4WD): 2TR 5MT: 3.91, 2TR 6AT: 4.30, 2GR 6MT: 4.30, 2GR 6AT: 3.91

    I'd trust me, haha.

    Correct, nothing has changed for any of the differentials. TRD Pro gets the same that the 2016 TRD Off-Road had, all else is a carry over.

    I don't know if I am actually going that route. I retrofit my 4runner but not sure about Tacoma, so far not bad. later on I will add led bar(s).

    The bigger picture here, it is pure gold that Toyota makes it so fucking cryptic to determine your own axle ratios. I went back and looked at my '16 brochure and laminated window sticker, nothing. My build label indicates a 3.73 ratio, but is that really true?

    Oh and it also shows I have the 8" diff in a 2wd. (Which it shouldn't according to every other reliable source on info I have read so far looking to lock my rear axle with aftermarket parts.)
