Well got my kings and gussets all on this weekend...need an alignment but could already tell how much smoother they were.
I was not at all impressed how the TC bucket gussets fit. Drivers side wasnt too bad but passenger side was a total joke. Could not get a snug fit up and just welded it anyway. I had to clearance the tops and weld in a small brace across to fit the zerks on the all pro arms but wasn't too bad.

Rear end will be coming soon. Shocks arrive tomorrow and hopefully my alcans will be here in a week or two

Yea I agree with you on the gussets 100%, they don't fit up right at all really. I had to modify both of mine

Ya , for a product that's cut and designed to fit in that location and one of the first products I've ever bought from TC...I was only impressed with how poorly they fit up. I feel like they didn't even try. I couldn't have made mine fit any better as the forward passenger side was almost too small. To modify it enough for what I would consider a snug fit...the bolt holes would never have lined up.

Just so everyone knows - Solo Motorsports and Dirt King also make those gussets. I have seen both and had no major issues at all. My Solo gussets needed just very slight grinding where they hit an OE weld that was super sloppy.

    ...too much shit to list.
You sure your bucket isn't bent? Mine took all of 2 minutes with a flap disk to fit perfectly.

I didn't wanna say it, but this.

Also, the parts might be "cut and designed to fit" but that doesn't mean your truck is exactly the same as the one they R&D'd off of. You might have hit a bump driving off the lot that made something tweak 1/4" in any direction for no apparent reason. I didn't install mine, but @jeffz0rz didn't mention having any issues with any of my gussets. Just the Camburg secondary mounts being tweaked a little and a little gapped at certain points, and guess what, I called camburg to ask for help and they said "it happens, every truck is different, if it straight up doesn't fit, then your truck is tweaked, otherwise do this and this and make it fit."

friend of mine has the weld on tabs for resi mounts. Just going to do those since the Synergy ones were too long. I guess King uses a baby resi on these models.

DK ones fit like a glove on my truck, they say to use only with their UCAs though due to the thickness/spacing, not sure if it maters or not though.

Are any of you guys running timberen bump stops in the front? I recently installed some and now it feels like the fj is going to fall apart while going over the whoops at speed, thinking maybe too much rebound as I have read that can be the case..

Yes I said FJ, before you laugh I am running 2.5 kings with adjusters on all corners, 650lb springs in front, no front sway with limit straps, camburg UCA's, dirtking lowers, gussets, regeared, etc...

No hate on FJs here man.
I cannot speak to timbrens either cause i still run OEM stops.

Have you tried putting the OEM ones back on and going for a run?

No not yet, actually had the timberens in for a while and ever since feels like the front end gets shaking sometimes while going fast over the dirt... I just practically rebuilt the front end with tower, spindle, cam tab gussets, Dirtking lowers. So just real weird I am having this crap still, but I remember it was "normal" haha before I installed those timberen's. Only other thing I can think of is the soft motor mounts, I checked and there's no damage (yet). I have the oil catch can and I installed it on the driver side of the motor, the motor was moving so much through the whoops that it started to dent the plastic brake fluid reservoir. I could not believe how much the motor was moving through the whoops.

Had a friend that just installed Timberens on the rear of his FJ and ended up cutting them down some because he was getting the same "rebound" issue on the rear axle. I can only take a guess here but I would think since they are a progressive bump stop that they would have more "bounce back" the more you compress them. So trimming them might be an option. But I would first make sure that IS the issue. Would suck to trim perfectly good bumps and then still have the problem.

The front's are a little different than the rear, the fronts you don't trim. I bought them used and have the rears as well, the rears are trimmed but I haven't installed those yet. Well I just ordered some wheelers super bumps so we shall see if that fixes it.

Maybe just going too fast and everything is falling apart?

I have the Wheeler's on the front of mine. I trimmed them down about 1/2" too. While you wait for the Wheeler's to show up you might try to put the stock one's back on.

I am curious to see the work you have done. Got a pic or 2?
