Quick walk on riverfront with @Hugopreston and his fiance. We sat between 3 pokestops at this restaurant and each dropped a lure. Had a magikarp pop up in the same spot every two minutes or so

 

Maybe the grass is taller for pokémon who are nearby...

They should atleast scale the grass to match the polemon i mean a rat and pidgey same size? Sure... But they look 3/4 the size of growleth and 1/2 the size of psyduck. I mean we all know an onyx aint hidin behind 6 blades of grass but i bet it will look like it hides well.

I made it to 22 tonight while playing at the church in Glendale. There were 30 of us playing out front of the Church tonight. It was a magikarp and kabuto nest for about an hour and a half. A Magmar showed up down the block and everyone walked over as a group and got it. It was fun. A pinsir spawned. A charmeleon spawned and it was a 750cp for me. Woot.

I'm serious, if anyone is near Glendale, CA, stop by this church at night. I can give the address. It gets a few Rares each night and the 3 stops are always lured

 

Found the cause of speed

 

They show up in order they are on the bottom right of the screen for me.

 

Yeah the little thing on the bottom right shows 3, and if you click it it shows more (the screenshots everyone has been posting). I have read 2 different articles, the first said it is no specific order just anything within 70m. The second said it goes from closest to furthest from top left (like reading a book). Didn't know what this update changed, if anything at all...

 

Yea i haven't had a chance to really try it myself. Let me know what you find out
